In 2013, I initially set a goal to read ten books. When I was way past that mark, I adjusted it to 20. I have read 29 books to date so I guess it’s safe to say that 2013 was a great reading year for me compared to the previous years. December makes you want to reflect on these things because in a few more days, it will be 2014. How time flies! What better way for bookworms like us to welcome the New Year than to make a list of our most anticipated books for 2014. This post was inspired by The Broke and The Bookish’s Top Ten Tuesday feature/ meme scheduled for December 3. Please check out the link to see the rest of the future themes.
So, without further ado, here are my most anticipated books for 2014:
- All The Light We Can’t See by Anthony Doerr
- The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender by Leslye Walton
- Emilie and the Sky World by Martha Wells
- Insanity by Susan Vaught | Watch the trailer
- Hang Wire by Adam Christopher
- Fear Nothing by Lisa Gardner
- The Blazing World by Siri Hustvedt
- Foreign Gods, Inc. by Okey Ndibe
- Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage by Haruki Murakami

- Vitro by Jessica Khoury
- My Name Is Resolute by Nancy E. Turner | Watch the trailer
- White Space by Ilsa J. Bick
