In 2013 I made a list of my most anticipated books for 2014. Turns out a lot of them have been released already so this post serves as an update to this post. Sophie (@PaperBreathers) reviewed The Martian by Andy Weir and Tanya (@52BooksOrBust) reviewed Foreign Gods, Inc. by Okey Ndibe.
Lots of new discoveries to share with you all too! :) I’m especially excited for Archetype by M.D. Waters and The Visitors by Rebecca Mascull.
- Archetype by M. D. Waters – See what Lisa (Book Shelf Fantasies) has to say about this book. Read her review here.
- The Girl With A Clock For A Heart by Peter Swanson – I discovered this book from Chrissi Reads. Read her review here.
- The Visitors by Rebecca Mascull – Goodreads
- Elizabeth is Missing by Emma Healey – Goodreads
- Thirty Girls by Susan Minot – Goodreads
- A Life in Men by Gina Frangello – Goodreads
- The Shock of the Fall by Nathan Filer – Goodreads
- The Swan Gondola by Timothy Schaffert – Goodreads
- The Flight of the Silvers by Daniel Price – Goodreads
- Boy, Snow, Bird by Helen Oyeyemi – Goodreads
Have you read any of these books yet? Let me know in the comments and I’ll link up to your review.

I just started doing Cover Wars. It’s kind of fun. But the best blogs are the ones who have a similar taste in books.

There are so many exciting books coming out over the next few months! I can’t wait to pick up All the Light We Cannot See and The Blazing World. If you have an e-reader, many of these are on NetGalley or Edelweiss – your blog is really great, I bet you would get approved!

I’m so excited to read these books but alas, I have to finish all my reading challenges first. Well, maybe I’m going to squeeze in a few when I get them even before I complete the challenges ;) Thank you so much for your kind words, Shannon. I really appreciate it. I was thinking of signing up for an account there but I’m not sure I will qualify. I’m still new to this book review and blogging stuff, so I’m still learning the ropes. Just wanted you to know that your blog is a great inspiration to me!
